CE Session: Regulatory Issues in Nuclear Pharmacy Practice
This session will focus on regulatory issues that impact nuclear pharmacy practice. Timely updates on issues pertaining to the IND/NDA process, CGMPs in PET facilities and regulations/guidance specific to patient safety will be presented.

CE Session:  Crisis Management
Current world-wide situations have introduced a new era of concern for members of the health profession. This session will deal with the topics of crisis management. While some issues will deal with the use and misuse of radioactive materials, broader topics such as building and material security and crisis management from the public, media and regulatory viewpoints will have applicability to all practicing pharmacists.

CE Session: Radiopharmaceutical Use in the Geriatric Population
This session will focus on the use of nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceuticals in the geriatric population. Highlighted will be the use of various nuclear medicine studies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases commonly seen in the geriatric age group. The impact of patient specific age related variables when performing these studies will be discussed as well.

CE Session: Current Issues in PET
The use of dual imaging modalities like PET/CT can greatly enhance the ability to detect and localize disease. A review of the basic applications and use of this modality will be presented. In addition, to further improve this modality, the use of radiologic contrast media has been discussed. This session will also talk about the use of contrast agents in this setting, as well as the patient based pharmaceutical care issues that may be important to nuclear pharmacists. Finally, a review of drug interactions that can impact PET studies will be presented.

CE Session:  New Developments in Radiopharmacy
This session will focus on newly approved radiopharmaceuticals as well as radiopharmaceuticals that are currently in clinical trial stages.  This session will focus on the clinical use of these agents, as well as various regulatory issues associated with their use.
