The White House has sent a budget to Congress that utilizes Radiology Benefit Managers to cut imaging spending.  MRI, CT, and other high-tech imaging procedures are the fastest growing component of physician services covered by Medicare, with two-thirds of the money Medicare paid for imaging was for scans in doctors' offices.   Imaging proponents have voiced criticisim to the budget initiatives.  For additional information...
