Manager Responsibilities Include:
§
Assist in the development and communication of goals for
pharmacy and individual team members that support the
organization’s mission and performance goals; Ensure
facility is meeting the outlined goals and objectives;
§
Administer the pharmacy budget; Manage profit and loss
statements; Monitor current revenues and expenses and
analyze and report on variances from plan; Provide
corporate accounting with weekly statistics reports and
monthly statements, approve accounts payables and assist
accounts receivable in collections;
§
Oversee team member safety, radiation safety and quality
programs to ensure pharmacy facility remains in
compliance with applicable state and federal
regulations, laws and practice standards, as well as
internal Triad safety policies and procedures; Conduct
pharmacy safety audits as required; Oversee team member
training to assure compliance with all safety standards;
May serve as Radiation Safety Officer or may delegate
this responsibility to appropriately trained individual
eligible to be named as RSO on pharmacy license;
§
Compound and dispense radiopharmaceuticals; Prepare
doses for transit, including packing, wrapping, checking
for contamination, completing necessary documentation,
and delivering doses if necessary; Calibrate
instruments daily; Oversee and contribute to the
overall organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy;
§
Remain prepared to perform emergency dispensing and/or
radiation safety procedures; Ensure the availability of
an authorized user of radioactive materials in the event
of emergency;
§
Collaborate with Sales Director to maintain customer
relationships and develop service contracts; Provide
recommendations for pricing and terms; Respond to
customer inquiries and complaints, take appropriate
steps to ensure customer satisfaction;
§
Interview, select, recommend hire, train and supervise
assigned team members; Provide leadership and direction
to team members and assist in the investigation and
resolution of problems; Evaluate performance and
provide counseling and coaching to team members; Assist
in personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers,
terminations, or disciplinary measures; Determine
current and future staffing levels; Develop and
implement staffing plans and related budgets;

Requirements:

Bachelors of
Science degree in pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy
from an accredited college of pharmacy required;
-
“Authorized
User” of radioactive materials on the pharmacy’s
radioactive materials license required;
-
Radiation
Safety Officer experience preferred;
-
Active state
resident and non-resident pharmacist license
preferred;
-
Board
certification in nuclear pharmacy (BCNP) preferred;
-
Broad
knowledge of the medical industry and business
management;
-
Two (2) plus
years experience in management of operations and
team;
-
Demonstrated
leadership skills in motivating team members and
meeting performance goals, preferably in a medical
environment;

Ability to
analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and
interpersonal;
-
Highly
organized and very effective time management skills;

Strong
written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to
negotiate and defuse conflict;

Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible,

Staff Pharmacist
Responsibilities Include:

Compound and
dispense radiopharmaceuticals per physicians
prescriptions

Perform
Quality Control testing on all dispensed products

Oversee staff
of pharmacy technicians, lab workers, and drivers

Comply with
all state and federal requirements for handling and
shipment of radioactive material

Provide
clinical support for customers with
radiopharmaceutical questions

Provide
instruction for pharmacy and nuclear medicine
technology students
Staff Pharmacist
Requirements:

Bachelor’s

Scope of Role:

Draw
doses at low energy or PET facilities either
manually or with the use of manipulator arms at PET

constancy check on the dose calibrator and the SCA;
Ensure equipment, which may include survey meters,

quality control on kits and instruments; perform
bio-assays, lab wipes & surveys, operate single
channel analyzer to determine contamination level,
document results; Perform a wide variety of quality
assurance tests including: tests for sterility,
pyrogenicity, and kryptofix as well gas
chromatography tests, thin layer chromatography
tests, alumina tests, molybdenum tests and other
tests pertaining to both PET and low energy products
