APhA recently launched a
Career Center on
www.pharmacist.com that provides several career-related services
to pharmacy students, new practitioners, and pharmacists looking for a
mid-career change. One such service is the Virtual Mentor
Program. This program connects interested individuals with
pharmacists currently working in a specific area - like nuclear.
The individuals can search and read about nuclear pharmacists and
email questions or ask for advice.
Additional pharmacists are
needed in the area of Nuclear Pharmacy!
Virtual Mentors must be
members of APhA and are asked to enter their profile directly at the
Virtual Mentor Center. Below are directions on how to enter your
profile:
1. Go to
www.pharmacist.com/careers.cfm
2. Click on "Go to
virtual mentoring services" (last link in right column)
3. Enter your
pharmacist.com username and password.
4. Click on link "Click
here to add or edit a Mentor record"
5. Enter your APhA
member number and password.
6. Click on "add new"
and fill in the information requested.
7. Once completed, click
"save" and the profile will be added to the virtual mentor database.
Thank you for your
