Drug-Radiopharmaceutical Interactions
 Program Description
This program will review some of the more common
or more significant drug-radiopharmaceutical interactions.
This is a knowledge based activity for pharmacists. Learning Objectives:
1. Describe common drug interactions with
radiopharmaceuticals, including the mechanism and significance of the
interactions.
2. Describe how medications may alter the biodistribution of
radiopharmaceuticals.
3. Explain how drug-radiopharmaceutical interactions can impact patient
care outcomes.
4. Describe resources (websites, publications, etc) to aid identifying
interactions.

- Complete the 20 question
quiz in either the Pharmacists or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Section,
accordingly
